A village is more than quality houses and beautiful streets – it’s about the people that call it home, and the community it creates and that surrounds it.
Our local partnerships allow the Arrowtown Lifestyle Village to support some of the clubs, groups and charities that make Arrowtown such an enjoyable place to live. These friendly connections also provide opportunities for residents new to the area to become truly one of the locals.
Lake Hayes A & P Show
The Lake Hayes A&P show celebrates the rural sector and provides a fun day out for all ages at one of the most scenic showgrounds in the country.
The Arrowtown Lifestyle Village has been a red ribbon sponsor of the show since 2018.
Arrowtown Golf Club
It’s not a chore to establish good relationships with your neighbours when they have been recognised as one of the top 25 short courses in the world.
A good number of our residents are members at this beautiful course and the Arrowtown Lifestyle Village is proud to sponsor the Ladies’ 9 hole golf competition annually.
Arrowtown Autumn Festival
We are a regular sponsor of the Arrowtown Autumn Festival, which attracts large numbers of locals and visitors to our beautiful town during one of the most colourful times of year.
There are a number of events held during the festival, designed to bring people together, celebrate autumn and enjoy a festival full of good old fashioned fun!
Arrowtown Bowling Club
In the historic heart of town, the Arrowtown Bowling Club provides a fantastic recreation and social facility for the community.
We thoroughly enjoy visiting the club to celebrate the wins and losses of local teams during the tournaments that we sponsor each year.
Southland Charity Hospital and charity fundraising
Our staff and residents fully appreciate the wonderful work that social services and charities do in the community. In recent years residents have held fundraising events to support the Movember, the Breast Cancer Foundation and Blue September.
The Southland Charity is an organisation close to our hearts. We regularly create fundraising opportunities for the trust with village events and activities open to the public. Our recent Garden Party and Art Trail raised over $3,000 thanks to the support of the residents and local community.
