Our Partnerships
A village is more than quality houses and beautiful streets – it’s about the people that call it home, and the community it creates and that surrounds it.
Our local partnerships allow the Arrowtown Lifestyle Village to support some of the clubs, groups and charities that make Arrowtown such an enjoyable place to live. These friendly connections also provide opportunities for residents new to the area to become truly one of the locals.
Arrowtown Golf Club
It’s not a chore to establish good relationships with your neighbours when they have been recognised as one of the top 25 short courses in the world.
A good number of our residents are members at this beautiful course and the Arrowtown Lifestyle Village is proud to sponsor the Ladies’ 9 hole golf competition annually.
Arrowtown Horticultural Society
We are a regular sponsor of the Arrowtown Horticultural Society, which attracts both locals and visitors to our beautiful town to celebrate spring with the Annual Spring Flower Show.
This much-loved show returns to the Athenaeum Hall on 25-26 September with daffodils, cut flowers, floral art, handicrafts, baking and photography all judged across the weekend. Open to the public, with plant stalls, a white elephant table, floral demonstrations and the Society’s famous home-made morning and afternoon tea.
Arrowtown Bowling Club
In the historic heart of town, the Arrowtown Bowling Club provides a fantastic recreation and social facility for the community.
We thoroughly enjoy visiting the club to celebrate the wins and losses of local teams during the tournaments that we sponsor each year.
Arrowtown Volunteer Fire Brigade
This year, our annual Garden Party became a fundraising powerhouse for the Arrowtown Volunteer Fire Brigade, bringing together residents, families and friends from across the wider community for an afternoon of live music, market stalls, food and entertainment.
Thanks to a lively charity auction the day raised an incredible $13,000, the largest amount the village has ever raised for a single cause. Fire Chief Murray Forward called the result “absolutely astounded.”
The funds will go towards vital upgrades for the brigade, including Starlink communications and backup generators to help keep them operational during emergencies. It’s a proud example of what our village community can achieve together.
